We use the parent's email address to notify parents about the establishment of their child's account (including login information), our privacy policy and new site features as they get added. We ask for gender and year of birth so we can deliver age appropriate content (for example, the background wallpaper options that are appealing to a 7 & 8 year old will be different, in some instances, than what appeals to an 11 and 12 year old, and also can differ by gender). We ask for state so that in the future we can provide information about fun regional activities.
